Last month interested residents, coordinators of our emergency preparedness efforts and four of our water district board members got together to brainstorm ideas for how the district might fund new programs designed to help us prepare for a wide range of emergencies. Click HERE for a summary of our ideas.
Next Thursday night, we’re going to get together again. This time our goal is to discuss the ideas, coax out a few more, but then to prioritize the concepts and pick teams that will explore and develop some of them in greater depth.
We’ll be meeting at the home of Lisa and Armin Staprans, 159 Ramona Rd at 7:30 pm Thursday February 28. All residents are enthusiastically encouraged to attend. For those that didn’t attend our first meeting, it will be helpful if you can read over and think about the summary of our ideas before the meeting.
